“工匠精神”的实质是“爱岗敬业”。3月5日的政府工作报告中谈到,鼓励企业开展个性化定制、柔性化生产,培育精益求精的工匠精神,增品种、提品质、创品牌。“工匠精神”出现在政府工作报告中,让人耳目一新,有媒体将其列入“十大新词”予以解读。(3月10日光明网)“工匠精神”,一般指的是工匠们对自己的产品精雕细琢、精益求精的精神,即对细节的高要求,追求完美和极致,这在制造行业表现得最典型。而今的“工匠精神”不仅仅限于制造业,工匠精神”的实质是各行各业以及各个岗位“爱岗敬业”的精神,即在工作上精益求精、追求完美地开展工作;任何一个细节,都关乎全局利益,任何一个岗位都关乎社会的建设与发展,工匠精神就是“爱岗敬业”的使命感和责任感

Undoubtedly, “the spirit of the craftsman”, or professional dedication, is fading among such institutions, and this may hamper their sustainable development. 


这幅图让人很自然的联想到当今社会的一种普遍现象——当今企业或机构,无论大小,大多重视当前运作的效率,却很少顾及其产品或服务的质量。不足为奇的是,一些电信公司只顾扩大提升用户规模,升级服务体系时却不作为,以至于电信诈骗泛滥。同样司空见惯的是,一些培训学校只顾扩大招生规模,却不注重升级课程体系。毫无疑问,工匠精神正在这些机构中消退,这不利于他们长期可持续的发展。

We should take initiatives to root the spirit in the mind of every social member. Specifically, the media should promote the awareness that it is enormous enjoyment to indulge in jobs, that it is a pleasure to keep improving products or services, and that it is an honor to offer customers best service. Meanwhile, seminars, organized either by department concerned or by association of a certain industry, should be launched to help enterprises or institutions learn from the role models of their industries . 


我们应该力争让敬业爱岗的工匠精神深入人心。媒体应该让人们深知,潜心工作是一种享受,精益求精是一种乐趣,用户至上是一种荣耀。同时,相关部门或行业协会应该举办研讨活动,让各个企业向业内典范学习。
